Last Saturday, as I sat there watching my daughter celebrate her greatest achievement in life so far, earning her degree, there was an elderly woman sitting directly behind me. Of course she was there for someone she loved as well who was celebrating their achievement. I overheard her say to someone next to her, "my buttons are just bursting!" It's an old saying denoting intense pride. I thought "yeah, so are mine!" But I didn't know the half of it. Well, actually it WAS the half of it, which is my daughter. The other half of it is my son. Last night he launched the new website for our church, our ONE church with MANY locations that is. I just saw it for the first time. WOW! Not only is it pleasing to the eye, but it is easy to navigate and full of useful and helpful information. I love all the photos and even the colors and tabs. It is so interactive and user friendly. I mean, I just got a new 60G video iPod and I got off work early tonight. The whole way home I was so excited to get home and play with my new iPod, but when I learned about the launch of the new site design, I went to check it out.. now I've set my new iPod aside JUST to poke around this site... that's how good it is! And I am not the only one who is impressed. Here are some comments that have already come in...

"This is quite possibly one of the best designed and well-organized
church sites I've ever seen"
"Couldn't ask for a nicer church site"
"Nice to see a church site that is really well layed out"
"Hi, it's not everyday I write to somebody to tell them that their
site is a thing of beauty (in fact, it's the first). A job very well
done indeed - it's almost a tutorial on good webdesign and coding!"
"This site is the template for which all churches should model
themselves"
"I just wanted to say that the new City Church website looks
awesome!"
